Thought Leadership / About me

For more than 25 years, I’ve focused on making computers easier to use—and I’ve succeeded! But that creates new challenges. My projects show how complex problems can be transformed into simple, accessible solutions. Today, I help organizations manage and leverage the massive amounts of information they create, consulting with Fortune 50 companies to design and implement knowledge management portals. Since 2023, my focus has shifted to Generative AI, which I believe is the most impactful advancement in human communication.  So I help businesses, my readers on medium, YouTube subscribers and my students at Northwestern develop strategic goals and outcomes with this emerging technology.
