The reggae obsession becomes firmly a sub genre of my record collecting after going to New York and taking the M train to Brooklyn to visit Studio One. Not to mention trips to the south side of Chicago to go to Conquering Lion records looking for rare leftover Culture records or other gems from the mighty output of 1970-1980. Afterwards, the Marley thing kind of killed off something, or the government fell apart or something. Best of – Burning Spear – Studio One, who needs another record?
